Up since 7am, breakfast, mail, grocery shopping, a little valentines day plotting, studio reassessment done, studio readings done, and about to get ahead in my architecture class, office hours coming up too…
and unintentional double-fisting caffeine isnt a good thing? :)
Hotel and flights are booked and registration is done! I’m going to the ASLA 2012 Conference!
Last year’s was really good and I cannot wait for this year!
Let’s just say I’m getting excited for it! Got a booklet on it in the mail a while ago and I still can’t put it down. Last year’s conference was so good and I think this one will be better! And one of the professors at my Univerisity is doing an education session on Friday so if you go, you should consider sitting in on his lecture at 8:30 - 10:00am on “Vertical-Flow Constructed Welands for Water Quality Improvement” by Gary Austin.
I’m also very excited that it’s in Phoenix, AZ this year. I haven’t been there in several years to say the least and it will be interesting to see it with my view of the world thanks to my studies in Landscape Architecture.
On another note, I’m having issues trying to log into the ASLA site.. and my dad brings me oreos. Oh yes, he is brillant!
Feels good :) Presentations this next Tuesday on location. Now for refinement of plans a few sections and perspectives and a touch of sketch up and Photoshop and I shall be done. :)
A nice little visit, talking of other graduates from our department. As well as how CAD and GIS are supper helpful to her with her two jobs.. I really need to improve my CAD and GIS abilities a wee bit. But I suppose that’s what this summer and Graduate School is for right?
